I have balanced my twin passions for theater and teaching ever since I began working at the New Repertory Theater (formerly in my home town of Newton, Mass) right out of college, where I had the distinction of being one of only 7 Humanities Majors at M.I.T. Since that time, I have worked at Portland Stage Company, founded both the old Oak Street Theater and Acorn Productions, and helped to design and install the Parish Hall Theater at the St. Lawrence Arts Center in Portland. Since 2000, I have also taught theater and English at first Sacopee Valley High School, then Gorham High School, and most recently the A.R. Gould School at the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland. I teach theater and improv for adults at Acorn Productions in Portland in addition to my position here at Windham High School which I began in the fall of 2016.
